Western Australia Child Assessment and Interview Team (CAIT) facility – WA Police

Redfish Technologies is pleased to announce that Indico Systems Standard Recorder, a Police Interview Recording Solution went live at the new purpose built Western Australia Child Assessment and Interview Team, (CAIT), facility in Perth, on Monday 3rd September 2012.  “Redfish Technologies provided a successful implementation of Indico Systems Standard Recorder for the CAIT facility in Perth” said Stuart Herring, Redfish Technologies principle consultant.   “We at Redfish are very pleased with its simple and easy to use interface while maintaining all the  functionality to provide the complete solution for the WA Police.”

Opened on Friday 31st August by the Western Australian Commissioner of Police, Mr Karl O’Callaghan and Mr Terry Murphy the Director General of the Western Australian Department for Child Protection, the facility is a purpose built Specialist Child Interview Suite.

Ms Alyson Brett Detective S/Sergeant, the facilities Officer in Charge (OIC), says that her Staff is eager to start using the system.   Ms Brett went on to say that “Redfish Technologies has been able to provide an excellent service in all aspect of the installation and training to the facilities staff.  We are well prepared to start using the system operationally.”

The Indico recording solution meets all of the requirements for the Western Australian Police.  Providing a reliable recording system that records the audio and visual data to multiple DVD’s at the end of the session.  The solution is the primary foundation of the overall systems.  More advanced features are able to be added at will to provide a connected infrastructure over a period of time, with all interviews accessible from anywhere within the Police network.
